What is The Bible Stacks Challenge?

The Bible Stacks Challenge is an activity that brings a whole new awareness to Bible poverty. All it takes is 4 simple steps:

  1. Find ‘em. (Round up all your Bibles!)
  2. Stack ‘em.
  3. Snap a photo.
  4. Share your photo and story on your social networks. Tell about the impact it had on you.

Realizing Bible Poverty Impacts Your Life

Surprisingly, Bible poverty takes many forms. For more than 350 million people, it’s living without access to even one verse of Scripture in the language they understand best. For others, it’s not a matter of access so much as it is engagement. If we have God’s Word, are we engaging in it?

There are millions of people who don’t have the luxury of even one verse of Scripture in their own language, and here I have nearly a dozen at my fingertips. —Rebekah McBride, Virginia, Bible Stacks Challenge participant

We are so rich in Scripture! But are we? It’s only any good to us if we read it. I know I don’t read it as much as I should. Do you? —Rachel Ramey, Virginia, Bible Stacks Challenge participant

We were astounded at the treasure mountain of Scripture we rounded up after 10 minutes of searching: 18 Bibles in 6 different languages, not to mention those on computer! This was a wake-up call to my family of how we take His Word for granted. —Sean Botha, South Africa, Bible Stacks Challenge participant
